Clean Lists

Cleaning lists is an industry name given to the process of processing a list of removal requests, or, removing the contents of one list from another.  This is the most important cleaning function, as this is the place where people who requested to stop receiving your email are taken care of.

Using Clean List :

1. Click the ' Browse... ' button next to the input file path to open a standard open-file-window.
2. Select the file you wish to clean.  This is often your Master list.  Click the OK button when finished.
3. Click the ' Browse... ' button next to the output file path to open a standard open-file-window.
4. Select a folder to save the output file in and specify a file name.  Click the OK button when finished.
5. Click the ' Browse... ' button next to the removal file path to open a standard open-file-window.
6. Select the file you wish to use.  This file should be the list of email addresses of people who have requested to be removed from your mailing list.  Click the OK button when finished.
7. Click the Apply Settings button to complete the setup of this job.  Any missing items will be detailed in the text box at the bottom of the window.
