Dedupe Files
Removing duplicates from a file is useful anytime.
Duplicate removal is step #1 in maintaining a clean list. Deduping has
several facets to it, in that it can be used to removal duplicate email
addresses as well as duplicate domains, for those who collect lists of
businesses and only want to email a business once to one of the collected
addresses. Since many businesses often have several departments or contact
email ( Example : support@emailspyder.com and billing@emailspyder.com )
removing duplicate domains can often be needed. NOTE : MAKE SURE YOU BACK
UP YOUR LISTS BEFORE USING THIS FUNCTION IF NOT MERGING SEVERAL LISTS TOGETHER,
AS THE LISTS WILL BE
OVERWRITTEN BY THE RESULTANT DEDUPED LISTS.
Using Dedupe Lists :

Click the '
Browse... ' button next to the input file list to open a standard
open-file-window.
- Select the files
you wish to dedupe. Select multiple files by holding down the control key
while clicking. Click the OK button when finished.

Click the Apply
Settings button to complete the setup of this job. Any missing items
will be detailed in the text box at the bottom of the
window.
Other Options :
If you wish to merge the input files
before processing begins to eliminate duplicates between all of the files, all
you need do is check the box labeled ' Merge Before Processing
' You will now have to enter an output file for the
resultant merged and deduped list to be saved to.
If you wish to not only remove
duplicate email addresses, but also duplicate domains, check the box labeled '
Dedupe Domains '.
