Verify Domains
Domain verification is a good polish to any list cleaning.
By verifying that the domains the email addresses belong to exist, you can weed
out a lot of bad addresses due to people purposefully entering fake or invalid
email addresses, which can save you a lot on bounce backs or undeliverable
email.
Using Split List :
- Click the '
Browse... ' button next to the input file path to open a standard
open-file-window.
- Select the file you
wish to split. Click the OK button when finished.
- Click the '
Browse... ' button next to the output file path to open a standard
open-file-window.
- Select a
folder to save the output file in and specify a file name. Click the OK
button when finished.

Click the
Apply Settings button to complete the setup of this job. Any missing
items will be detailed in the text box at the bottom of the window.
Other Options :
If you wish to
save the removed entries from a verification into a seperate file, check the '
Save Removed Addresses ' box. This can be useful for those who go
through the resulting removed addresses to determine if any were removed that
should not have been. Addresses can accidently show up as invalid if the
site is down or if the email belongs to a special service where the domain is
internal to that service.
